1. Register

You’ll receive a consignor number when you register through our website. Use this to log into your homepage and work with your inventory.

2. Gather Your Supplies & Prep Your Items

You’ll need:

Shirt and Pant Hangers

Packing tape

Painters Tape

Zip Ties (various sizes)

String or Ribbon

Card stock (white for donate and colored for pick up)

Tagging Gun

Safety Pins

• Check our section BELOW for what we accept and do not accept and put aside items we do not accept.

• Inspect items for stains, rips, missing buttons, etc. We only accept the best quality items. We want to cut down on the length of time our sellers must wait at drop-off.  Please take an extra few seconds to really look at your pieces and be sure they are free of armpit stains, tears, ring around the collar, pilling near the armpit (especially t-shirts and sweaters) and stretched out pants.  

• All clothing must be on a hanger. 

• Use notch or velvet hangers for strappy items (tanks & dresses) - no safety pins.

• All bottoms must be hung by the waistband on a pant hanger.

• Do NOT use safety pins when hanging bottoms. 

• Secure all buttons and zippers.

• When hanging sets be sure to secure both items/hangers together with a rubber band.

• Do NOT bring shoes in boxes. We do not have room to display shoes with boxes.

• Do NOT tie or tape your shoes together.

• Belts, scarves and hats do not require hangers.

3. Input Your Items​

• Organize by category and size before you begin inputting. 

• Price to sell. Consignors with competitive prices end up taking less home and earning more money. 

• Offer your items at ½ OFF for Discount Day. Half the money is better than no money!

• 60 - 75% off retail is a good rule of thumb.

• Ask yourself, "What would I pay at a consignment sale?"

3. Print Your Tags on Card Stock​

• Be sure to calibrate your printer before beginning. 

• Use white paper for items you’d like to donate. Use colored paper (pastels work best) for items you plan to pick up. **anything on a WHITE tag will be automatically pulled for donation after the sale**

4. Attach Tags to Items

• Purchasing a tagging gun for less than $15 from Amazon is an affordable way to save time and your fingers from pinning tags. 

• If using a tagging gun, only tag in seams or in manufacturer's tags.

• Tags must be securely attached to shoes with ribbon/zip ties and hole punch, safety pins or packing tape. Shoppers will be handling and trying them on.

• Do NOT tie your shoes together when attaching the tag.

• When using tape on shoes, be sure it sticks. You can try packing or painting tape to see what works best.  You can tape to the inside of the shoe or use ribbon and hole punch.

• Affix tags to other loose accessories using a tagging gun, ribbon, zip ties or safety pins.

• For jewelry, attach tags using ribbon or small zip ties and hole punch. 

• Earrings can be attached to card stock tag and taped on the back to further secure the earrings.

• Sort like items as they are tagged and ready to go to make drop off as smooth and quick as possible.

5. Drop Off Items

You have two options: ​Express Drop Off and Scheduled Drop Off.​

Express drop off is ONLY for consignors who plan to donate ALL of their unsold items. 

​

Consignors planning to donate ALL items:

• Fill out Express Drop Off Form and bring with you to the allotted times for Donate Only items.

• You do NOT need to schedule an appointment.

• Your items will be put to the side and gone through at our convenience before shopping starts.

Express Drop Off Times:

Tuesday, April 30th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm OR from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

Consignors planning to pick up unsold items:

• Schedule a drop off appointment through your consignor account on the tagging website and print your Consignor Drop Off Form.

• Bring your items and Consignor Drop Off Form to your scheduled drop off appointment. 

• Allow 45 minutes to an hour for drop off.

6. Shop the Pre Sale

• Consignors always shop first before the public.

• Spread the Word via Social Media, email, workplace, etc. The more shoppers, the more you sell and cash you make!

​

7. Pick Up Your Items

• Any unsold items you pick up are ready to go for our next event. No need to retag! Just stick that tote in the garage and add more inventory until the next event to make more cash. **If you do not pick up your unsold items on colored tags during the pick up time there will be a $25 fee deducted from your profits.** 

• If you donate all of your items, you have nothing else to do, but rest easy knowing you've emptied some closets, made some cash and passed on your unsold items to people in our community who can use them!

8. Cash your check!

• Checks are mailed within 3 weeks of the end of the event.

What We Do Not Accept.

​

The following items will NOT be accepted or very selectively accepted at drop off:​

• Items purchased more than 4 years ago, unless a "vintage" item.

• Items that smell of cigarette smoke or pet odor.

• Shrunken, faded and wrinkled garments.

• Garments with small holes, tears, broken zippers, and missing buttons.

• Garments with pilling, fuzz, lint, and pet hair.

• Wedding gowns.

• Bathing suits, undergarments and lingerie, unless NEW.

Pass It On holds final approval on all items in the sale.

What We Do Accept.

Pass It On Womens Consignment Event accepts current (purchased within the last 3-4 years), new and gently worn brand name items and boutique labels from Juniors, Petite to Plus sizes and Maternity.

We are looking for:

• Teen fashion sizes 1-17.

• Petite and Plus sizes (00-26+).

• Maternity.

• Shirts, Sweaters, Blouses, Pants, Shorts, Skirts, Jeans, Capris and Dresses.

• Professional Wear: Suits, (skirt and pant suits), Jackets and Blazers.

• Formal Wear: Cocktail dresses, Special Occasion Dresses, Prom Dresses and Mother of the Bride/Groom Dresses.

• Active Wear: Tennis Attire, Yoga Tops & Pants, Running Shorts, Jackets.

• New WITH Tags: Bathingsuits & Under Garments, Sports Bras, Etc. 

• Shoes

• Handbags, Purses & Luggage

• Accessories: Headbands, Hair Clips, Belts, Scarves, Hats.

• Jewelry.

• Books for Adults.

• Home Decor

• Linens, Decorative Pillows.
